Yoga is the balance of mind, body, and soul. In my class, we will use yoga breath, posture and meditation to achieve the balance within you. Fawn is trained in Classic Yoga based in Indian and Hindu culture.  The goal of yoga is not to be flexible, but to attain pure consciousness.   Yoga is a lifelong discipline that benefits the body and mind to help itself through the steps of aging to be healthy, strong, and vital.

On Tuesdays from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Fawn will be teaching a class focusing on basic standing poses with flowing movements. These lessons are appropriate for elders and those with knee issues. The lessons will cost $10 per person and a mat will be provided for each student. Please call to request joining due to limit space.


On Thursdays from 10;00 AM – 11:00 AM, Fawn will be holding relaxation yoga lessons centering on floor poses with a meditative flow. These lessons are suited for those in situations or those with little flexibility. Please call to request joining due to limit space.
 These lessons are $10 a person and a mat will be provided. 

Thursday at 4:30 Prenatal Yoga at the Hawkins church on Hallsferry, please bring pillows, mats, band, and blanket for your comfort. If you do not mind, We ask for a 5 dollar donation for the use of the building and it is starting June the first.



Vicksburg Hotel Yoga:  On Wednesdays, yoga lessons continue at the Vicksburg from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM. These lessons are $20 for 4 sessions. Click on the picture located on the left to schedule yourself and please bring a mat.  This group is for beginners. In this class setting, you will learn proper breathing and how the mind and body are connected.  There is no forcing of joints and limbs into poses that cause discomfort or pain. We will not hold poses too long or push the class beyond the point of fatigue. The class will leave your body feeling refreshed and well toned from exercise with complete relaxation of the mind. We do these types of yoga in this class: Strength of Will ( holding poses for a minute), Yin and Yang (going through all planes of the body in a flowing manner to relax the body and mind), Chanting/Yoga (chanting at the beginning and end of class with poses to unlock the chakras in the middle), and a slow-flowing "working on the poses" class.
